cant help..wake up this morning and looking back again those schooling photos, the emotion like a roller coaster...
the upper photo was taken after our intensive training for Penang Regional Dragon Boat tournament at school level. quite a number of us are not good in swimming or not at all..and there was one time sudden struck by strong winds and storms while we were in the middle of the sea..guess what, we didnt have enough life jackets.. at times the boat almost capsize when struck by the strong high waves. haha well, we survived! but after such event, am connected closer to few of those who were next to me on the boat.. we have all kind of body shape instead of all muscular like other teams from other schools. somehow miracle happen, and we won! haha remember in the middle of the half way race, we all were like desperate and we really crazily all out for once and for all..guess we were the only one without proper rowing rhym.eveyone just row on their best effort...
and most of the dragon boat members also scouting mates for years.
this was taken when we won the district marching competition. it was very tough competition. we trained together days and nights. during the training, arguments, laughters, desperation...missing them so much. from around 30 member gang during high school, became around 11 member gang in 6th form. leaving one by one to study oversea or working... chopped the bamboo for campfire preparation..
we would played basketball together after any scouting event on saturday afternoon. can you imagine more than 20 people separate into two teams playing in one court, fight for one ball haha now you can imagine why a lot of complains and shouting around when scratch or hit by others. this photo was taken during the time few of us staying together renting an apartment unit nearby to our school before four of them leave to Russia for medical study. quite often, the scouting gang would bbq late night at the beach behind penang Shangrila Hotel. usually start at 10 pm, end around midnight, then we would play volley ball at the beach in the dark. at times when we sang or talked too loud, the hotel security guards would came out and warn us haha that day, few of us take the risk of being dispilinary punishment for being very late to school, we went to airport for Kok Xian, Ying Zhuang, ah Ben and Chow Siong leave to Russia to study. we were spending months staying together under the same roof...again, all those fun moments, arguments over washing toilets, mop the floor, kitchen...who stole the foods, compete and helping with each other in study till late night, hiking together at 2am early morning after finish studied to watch sunrise on penang hill.....thank you very much my friends, lets hope we will meet again when we all finish our study then.
then, the pain of losing these friends compensate by my 6th form classmates... organized trip to Maxwell hill for our insectarium project. its a beautiful place with nice cold weather. we have some great time there. still remember, at night, we would switch off all the lights in and around the house, and then we played polis-and-thief in the darkness. hahaha sigh..
or we would try our best to celebrate everyone's birthday. usually, we would celebrate at ah Kong condo where swimming pool is next to the bbq ground.
with two of our teachers invited, usually almost full attendance for any event..
and so the birthday cake gone haha but hey, we have some great time! hehe then we would jump into the pool
and came the security guard - the residents complaint for our noisiness hahaha with our lower 6 class teacher incharge as well as our chemistry teacher, mr Ang, one of our most favourite teachers. this photo taken before one left to UK to study and the other to Russia.
Upper 6 Biology 1 with Mdm Cheah, our MUET teacher as well as our class teacher in charge.
Lower 6 Biology 1 with Mr Ang form 5
form 4 Form 3 Form 2 Form 1
... watching back all these faces, recalling all the fond memories..man, i must admit am the luckiest guy in this world to be bless with so many beautiful people around me..and i didnt appreciate them that much back in old days. good luck and all the best to all of you in searching the meaning of life then :o)

ages of absent from this blog, looking back those old photos..tears of all kind of memories bursting...
this photo was taken on my brother's wedding with my sister holding my nephew in november 2007.. plus sister-in-law and brother-in-law
below are my parents
a good friend just pass away recently at the age of 35 due to cancer. was there with him few days before he pass away till the post-funeral..the family's grief really haunting me for days and nights..am so afraid the same thing might happen to my belove family members. no way i can cope with the lost...even now, far away from them, missing their grin, their nag..no matter what happen in the past, how intense the arguments were, how much apart from personal principles and lifestyles, all these memories seems to be like.. wine, sweeter as time pass by. if a person's sins are the reason why him/her to have cancer or going through torment of sicknesses..then, Father in heaven, let me bear my family members sins. let them not suffer from any torment, but live a happy and healthy life.

the road can be very very dusty. so we are encourage to own a mask or whatever things that can cover you nose.
